It’s been a little while, so I thought I’d update you guys with the purchases I have made recently (music wise). To make things a little more interesting, I’ll just add the vinyl I’ve recently bought (also because I cannot be bothered to type out all the CD’s!)
Sharam - Party All The Time (PATT):
A remix of an 80’s post disco hit by Eddie Murphey. Remixed by one half of Deep Dish, this is a tune to make a dancefloor explode. Use wisely.
DJ Noodles - Promiscous:
A collection of remixes of Nelly Furtardo’s Promiscous (spelt wrongly on the label :s ) that I have no doubt in saying is a bootleg. It also starts the song off by using a sample from Shakira - Hips Don’t Lie. Interesting! All in all a good solid hip-hop song to get people moving.
Booka Shade - In White Rooms:
What a lovely tune
I’m going to call this one uplifting house. Not something to play at your average 18th, but play this in a house club and watch the reaction!
Keane - Is It Any Wonder (Tall Paul Remix):
An improvement on a wishy washy original! Use this as a warming up kinda song - not a full on near the end “get the party rocking” kind of track.
Justice Vs Simian - We Are Your Friends:
A truly housey tune with an awesome bass riff. Suitable to play anywhere where people are up for a good time.
Studio B - I See Girls:
A classic. Need I say more.
Well that’s all for this post. Enjoy and get out buying records!

Possibly THE most random party I have ever DJ’ed at. I was DJ’ing next to a kind of stream thing (sorry no photos
) where three people fell in, and one mobile phone got dropped in. Needless to say the phone didn’t work afterwards…
The party started around 19:00 and I eventually wound it up at about 00:45. Amazingly no neighbours complained of the noise. But a good party with the main musical genres being house/funky house/trance/d’n'b/hip hop - so the normal sort of selection. Most requested/popular song of the evening: Supermode - Tell Me Why.
Until next time…

Basically this is just a site where I can update people on my current news as a DJ and musician. I will include my top 10 songs of the month per month, and news of my latest purchases. Also I will post songs I am looking out for, or waiting to be released. I hope this is interesting in some way, and can provide people with an insight into what I do.
